Student Graduated and Joined Ernst & Young
Congratulations to Rauf Mahmudzade for successfully completing his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering. Rauf will be joining Ernst & Young in Chicago as an Environmental Consultant.
During his degree, Rauf has published 4 research papers in high impact journals as well as presented his work in various prestigious conferences. He won awards in several different competitions - i.e., 3Minute Thesis and E&T Week Oral Presentation. Rauf was also nominated for Outstanding Master's degree award in 2022.
We wish him good luck in his future endeavors.

BEAM Lab Presented Research Work during Grand R1 Celebration
Graduate and Undergraduate Students of BEAM Lab presented our research projects on "Chitosan-based Nanocomposites" and "Shape Memory Polymers" during the Grand R1 Celebration on February 23, 2022. This recognition as an R1 University - that is, as one of only 137 institutions with a designation of "very high research activity" by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.
